VERDOR

Since 1927. Licence No. 1.

Verdor Cocuy is more than a spirit — it’s the finest expression of Venezuelan craftsmanship and cultural pride. As the first Cocuy officially exported from Venezuela, Verdor is made from 100% Green Agave (Agave Cocui Trelease), a rare species found only in Venezuela’s semi-arid valleys.

Each litre requires 37 pounds of mature agave, grown for a minimum of eight years before harvesting. Handcrafted in limited batches with no additives, Verdor offers an experience defined by authenticity and refinement.

A Legacy of Craftsmanship

Our family distillery has produced Cocuy since 1927, holding the country’s Licence No. 1 for its production. Under the guidance of Maestro Cocuyero Cristóbal Sánchez — President of ASOPROCOCUY and co-signer of the IGP for Cocuy Larense — Verdor preserves the ancestral techniques and spirit of true agave mastery.

Every bottle is hand-signed and numbered, embodying exclusivity and care.

Tasting Notes

A smooth, elegant spirit with floral and herbal aromas, layered with smoky, earthy, and citrus notes. A long, warm finish reflects the richness of Venezuela’s landscape.

How to Enjoy

Serve neat or over ice to savour its full complexity. Verdor also shines in refined agave cocktails that highlight its natural character.

A Rare Privilege

Verdor Cocuy is crafted from agaves grown on a 120-year-old family farm and distilled in small quantities. It stands as a tribute to heritage, authenticity, and taste — a celebration of what patience and tradition can achieve.
