Welcome to Cocuy Ambassadors! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Cocuy Ambassadors Ltd. We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services (the “Services”), to provide you with a curated shopping experience. Our store is powered by Shopify.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein (including our Privacy Policy and Refund & Returns Policy), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
By visiting, interacting with, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use or access the Services.
SECTION 1 – ACCESS, AGE, AND ACCOUNT
1.1 Age restriction (alcohol). You must be 18 years or over to purchase age-restricted products (including alcohol) from our store. We may use age-verification checks and may refuse or cancel orders if we cannot verify age. A signature from an adult (18+) may be required on delivery.
1.2 Capacity and dependants. By using the Services you confirm you have capacity to contract under the laws of England and Wales.
1.3 Account details. You may be asked to provide information (e.g., email, billing and shipping address, payment details). You warrant such information is accurate, current, and complete, and that you have all rights to provide it.
1.4 Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account. You must not transfer or sell your account.
SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS
2.1 We endeavour to describe products accurately; however, colours and appearance may vary by device and settings.
2.2 We do not warrant that any product or service will meet your expectations or exactly match on-screen renderings.
2.3 Product descriptions, availability, and pricing may change without notice. We may limit quantities to any person or region and may discontinue products at any time.
SECTION 3 – ORDERS
3.1 Offer and acceptance. Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline at our discretion. A contract forms when we send you an order acceptance/dispatch confirmation and have received and processed payment.
3.2 Cancellations. Once accepted, we may be unable to cancel. If we decline or cancel, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided.
3.3 Personal use. You warrant that purchases are for personal/household use and not for commercial resale or export, unless otherwise agreed.
3.4 Returns. Purchases are subject to our Refund & Returns Policy which includes your statutory rights under UK law (see Section 21).
SECTION 4 – PRICES, VAT, AND BILLING
4.1 Prices. Prices may change without notice. The price charged is that shown at checkout at the time of order. Unless stated otherwise, UK prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) and exclusive of delivery/handling and any duties for non-UK shipments.
4.2 Promotions. Promotions may be subject to separate terms; if there is a conflict, promotional terms prevail.
4.3 Payment. You agree to provide current and accurate billing details and authorise us (and our payment providers) to take payment. You warrant you are authorised to use the payment method and that charges will be honoured.
4.4 Currency. Charges are processed in the currency shown at checkout; your issuer may apply conversion/foreign transaction fees.
SECTION 5 – SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND RISK
5.1 Delivery times. Any delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
5.2 Risk and title (UK consumer orders). Risk of loss passes to you on delivery to the address you provide, or when collected by you. Title to goods passes when we have received full payment.
5.3 Delays. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, strikes, adverse weather, or events beyond our reasonable control.
5.4 Failed delivery/age check. If delivery is attempted and fails (including failed age verification), we may charge redelivery or restocking fees where reasonable.
SECTION 6 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 The Services and their content (including text, graphics, images, video, audio, logos, trademarks, and overall design) are owned by Cocuy Ambassadors, our affiliates, or licensors and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
6.2 You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial use only. No licence is granted except as necessary for normal use of the site. You must not copy, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
6.3 Our names, logos, and marks are trade marks of Cocuy Ambassadors or our licensors. Shopify’s names and marks are trade marks of Shopify. All other marks belong to their respective owners.
SECTION 7 – OPTIONAL TOOLS
Third-party tools may be provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not control or endorse such tools and are not liable for your use of them. Use is at your own risk and subject to the third party’s terms.

Our Services may include links to third-party sites or embedded features. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, security, or privacy practices. You access third-party sites at your own risk and should review their policies before transacting.
SECTION 9 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. While Shopify powers the platform, your purchase contract is with Cocuy Ambassadors Ltd. Shopify is not responsible for sales between you and us. You expressly release Shopify from claims arising from your purchases with us.
SECTION 10 – PRIVACY
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Shopify’s Privacy Policy. Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, certain data is processed by Shopify (and its subprocessors) to operate and improve the Services, which may include transfers outside the UK/EEA subject to appropriate safeguards.
SECTION 11 – FEEDBACK, REVIEWS, AND USER CONTENT
By submitting reviews, ideas, suggestions or other content (“Feedback”), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish and display such Feedback for any lawful purpose. - upload malicious code;
- scrape or harvest data without consent;

We may suspend or terminate your access (in whole or part) at any time, including for breach of these Terms. You remain liable for amounts due up to the date of termination. Sections intended to survive termination shall continue to apply.

Except as expressly stated by us, the Services and all products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that use of the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Your statutory rights are not affected.
SECTION 16 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law (including your statutory rights).
Subject to the above, we (and our officers, employees, agents, partners, service providers, and licensors) shall not be liable for: (a) loss of profit, revenue, business, or goodwill; (b) loss of data; (c) indirect or consequential loss; or (d) losses not reasonably foreseeable. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services or any product shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant product(s).
SECTION 17 – INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cocuy Ambassadors, our officers, employees, agents, partners, and service providers from losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of law or third-party rights.
SECTION 18 – SEVERABILITY
If any provision is found unlawful, void, or unenforceable, it shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 19 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
A failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. These Terms, together with policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and supersede prior understandings.
SECTION 20 – ASSIGNMENT
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations without notice.
SECTION 21 – UK CONSUMER RIGHTS & CANCELLATION
21.1 Statutory rights. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
21.2 Cooling-off period. For most online purchases, you have a 14-day cancellation period starting the day after you (or your nominee) receive the goods. You must inform us of your decision to cancel within this period; you then have a further 14 days to return the goods. You are responsible for return postage (unless the item is faulty or misdescribed). We will refund the product price (and the standard delivery cost, if applicable) within 14 days of receiving the goods back or proof of return.
21.3 Exceptions. Your right to cancel may not apply to:
- goods that are sealed for health protection/hygiene reasons once unsealed;
- goods that are made to your specification or clearly personalised;
- (We will identify any such exceptions clearly on the product page where relevant.)
21.4 Faulty or misdescribed goods. You are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with UK law. Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for the process.
SECTION 22 – EXPORT, LOCAL LAWS & RESTRICTIONS
You are responsible for compliance with local laws in the place of delivery, including import duties, taxes, and restrictions on alcohol. We may refuse orders or delivery where prohibited.
SECTION 23 – FORCE MAJEURE
We are not liable for failure or delay to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, strikes, lockouts, war, terrorism, epidemics, natural disasters, transport or utility failures, or governmental restrictions.
SECTION 24 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, provided that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
